Description:
The data give the ant species richness (number of ant species) found in 64 square metre sampling grids, in 22 
bogs and 22 forests surrounding the bogs, in Connecticut, Massachsetts and Vermont (USA). The sites span a 3° of 
latitude in New England.

There are 44 observations on four variables, plus the site identifier.

Variables:
Site	An abbreviation for the name of the site
Srich	The species richness (number of species) for ants
Habitat	Either Forest or Bog
Latitude	The latitude (in decimal degrees) for the site
Elevation	The elevation of the site, in metres above sea level
Data Quality:
There are no missing values.
